HEADLINE: SADDAM'S LAWYER IN CHART BID;
FORMER Dundee FC director Giovanni di Stefano is launching a new career as a music mogul. The controversial lawyer, who has represented dictators Saddam Hussein and Slobodan Milosevic, has produced an album by an Italian singer. He is planning an assault on the pop charts with the record and even boasts that it includes his prodigy Just Carmen performing a duet with Elvis Presley.
"Carmen also does a couple of numbers with Mr Boogie Woogie, "His real name is Rockin Dave.
But Di Stefano is sure to cause controversy with the release because it also includes a track written by disgraced pop pervert Jonathan King. The ex-Dens Park chief executive was King's brief when he was locked up in 2001 for serious sexual offences against young boys.
Last night London-based Di Stefano, 51, - nicknamed The Devil's Advocate - said: "The album features Jonathan King's song Everyone's Gone To The Moon, which Jonathan very kindly let us use. "Carmen's version of It's Impossible also has Elvis singing on the track too. It's the first time he'll have done a duet since he sang with Ann-Margret."
The album, called Seriously Single, features Carmen performing a number of cover versions by artists such as Gloria Estefan.
