Shotgun Boogie - like a start-off shotgun in a Texan barn-dance. Although the rednecks travelling to the dance from Rockville will be jolted to modern times with a bang. Good morning and good night! The dandyish debauchers have been replaced by Dave's gang. Who's that crazy straw-hat fiddler? When Dave's fingers hit the piano in Big'n'Bouncy, the back-drop changes from a country barn-dance to a glittering prism sphere of the Rockville ballroom. This is Fastfinger Boogie Woogie. Stop the music! That Yakety-Waxaphonist is too much! Blast-Off brings Chicago mist into the Rockville nightlife. "Good Rockin' Tonight" scream the horns, just like a lecherous bull. The piano runs over you like a jovial centipede. This can be found in the Rockville Women's Club dictionary under "S" - for "Sinful". Yippee! It Doesn't Matter - Oh Carol! Oh Neil! Oh God! And the chorus, "Bop-shoowaddy-waddy". Are my eyes deceiving me? Rockville's circle of old seamstresses sophisticatedly rub their haunches against the silk chairs. It's a groove, baby! Fiddle Diddle Boogie - is there such a thing as CountryJazz? If not, there is now! This is the dark ale of Rockville. The veterans are panting with their beards covered in froth. "Blood is the eldest of the ointments" but Dave "the Fastfinger" is a killer only in music. He has even drunk Finnish lager. It's all happening in front of the saloon. Who dropped the guitarist in the well? Sounds like that. And who will pay the whining fiddler? You're Wrong. Ian Dury, you're wrong. Haven't you heard the news? It's no longer enough to hit me with your rhythm stick. Grandmas have rubber slacks and leather whips; let's have some more of this! Woolly tights swivel even though the feet are firmly aground. The old ladies beat each other with knitting needles. Reels of wool have replaced silicon. Youth is here and now. Spooky Boogie - in the saloon, the ghost piano plays endless Boogie Woogie. Rockville has no physical dimension. You can get there by invitation only. Jive With Me. Amidst the rising mist looms Rockville where, in the "Two I's" Café, Bob Wills, Rufus Penniman, J.B. Summers, Amos Milburn, Don Lang, Sugarchile Robinson and Dave "the Fastfinger" reside in the sunset, at the golden edge of the horizon, in the sound of the final vibrating note.
