It has come to the attention of Midnight Rock that there is a rock n roll copycat about.

The impersonator apparently only performs Kent, and goes under the same name as Rockin Dave. This news came about when various newspaper articles published stories about rockin Dave playing various gigs, when the REAL Rockin Dave was entertaining the expats in Benidorm!

What is worse, is that the Rockin Dave double plays to backing tapes and can’t even play the piano! Sources reveal that the backing tapes are illegally copied from the real Rockin Daves CDs.

If you are booking Rockin Dave, make sure it’s the real one, there is a big difference!

Rockin Dave has been poundin’ the piano since the mid 70’s, and is arguably the best boogie woogie exponent on the scene.

Many complaints have been received about the dubious double, and it is obvious that he is performing these shows on the strength of the real Rockin Dave’s reputation as a fine showman and piano player.
